Joe Nix

Joe Ray Nix was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Waco, TX. He died at the age of 53 on Saturday, September 24, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 18, at 2:00 pm at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
Joe enjoyed working with the youth of Texas at the Youth Correctional Facility in Waco, Texas. He also worked at the Guidance Center of Lea County. Joe moved ti Hobbs in 2011 to be close to his family
He is survived by his brother Bo and wife, Jena sister Diane Gentry of Hooks, TX two nieces, Savanna and Kassidy of Hobbs and numerous cousins.
