Joe Luker

Joe B. Luker, 71, of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on January 16, 2014 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Mr. Luker was born July 6, 1942 in Dumas, Arkansas to Berdine and Alice Luker. Joe worked as a welder for Key Energy for over 31 years. He loved watching Westerns. Joes greatest enjoyment came from participating and supporting his grandchildrens activities.

Mr Luker is survived by a son, Joe Wayne wife Candy Luker of Hobbs three daughters, Edna Hallady, Lisa husband Greg Rollins and Kim husband Brian Flowers, all of Hobbs a brother Ted Luker of Hobbs and a sister Linda Luker, of Lovington, New Mexico nine grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren, who will miss him greatly.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Mary, and a brother, Billy Luker.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Chapel of Hope, officiated by Chaplain Elio Barrios.
