Joann Blakeney

Services for JoAnn Blakeney, 76, who passed away April 28, 2010, at her home in Hobbs, will be Saturday, May 1, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2010, 11 a.m. 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until service time.

JoAnn was born March 16, 1934, in Coahoma, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Emory Blakeney three daughters, Belinda McNeley and husband Mike of Hobbs, Debrah Stephens and husband Tommy of Capitan, New Mexico, and Amanda Engle and husband Rod of Lexington, Oklahoma two sisters, Charlene Warn of El Paso, Texas, and Joyce Savell of Hobbs nine grandchildren, Joe, Tommy and Dean Stephens, Chris, Shaun and Tony Wright, Trisha Clagg, Jimmy Cannon and Heidi Johnson 18 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
