Jimmy Savage

Memorial services for Jimmy Lee Savage, Sr. will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Elbethel Church of God in Christ, 622 S. Jefferson, Hobbs, NM, officiated by Pastor Dylan Barry. Jimmy died November 1, 2011, in Lubbock, TX. He was born August 13, 1952, in Eloy, Arizona, to Joe Savage and Lillie Mae Roberson. He was married to Mary Garza.

Jimmy played HHS basketball for Coach Ralph Tasker. He detailed cars and took great pride in his work. Jimmy loved his mama.

Surviving Jimmy are his mother, Lillie Mae Patton of Hobbs 4 brothers, Matthew Savage, and wife Kim, of Farmington, NM, Richard Savage, and wife Glendora, of Levelland, TX, Lyndell Owens, and wife Sonya, of Hobbs, Eric Patton, and wife Demetri, of Dallas, TX 4 sisters, Bobby Green, and husband Robert, of Denver, CO, Linda Barry, and husband Dylan, of Hobbs, Florence King, and husband James, of Hobbs, and Katina Towne, and husband Vince, of Dallas, TX 3 daughters, Trina Oliver Johnson of Hobbs, Tammy Alexander of Hobbs, and Tiffany Stewart of Denver, CO 4 sons, Jimmy Savage, Jr., Nijoy Oliver Savage of Hobbs, Anthony Savage of Hobbs, and Deshaun Savage of Hobbs and a host of step brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie G. Patton.
