Jim S. Larmon, 75, passed away on December 31, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. He was born on July 3, 1939 in Bryan County, Oklahoma to the late Jim and Edna Larmon. Jim was married to Connie Larmon on July 24, 1960 and they lived together in Hobbs, NM until her death on October 17, 2014.
Jim was an exceptional man with incredible integrity and a wonderful sense of humor. He was known for great conversation and his big "bear hugs." Jim was an active member of the American Legion, an avid golfer, and a traveled man. He cared deeply for his wife, family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Jim was also preceded in death by his wife, Connie Larmon, his brothers, R.L. and Donald Larmon. He is survived by his family and friends, including Erika and Shaun Bell, Kelly and Gary Chapman, Wanda Sweitzer, Tom and Mona Harmon, Chance, Sara, and Seven Tomlinson, and Tom and JoAnn Miller.
Jim will be laid to rest at Prairie Haven Cemetery beside his loving wife. A memorial to Honor Jim's life is Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00 at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, Hobbs with Elio Barrios officiating. All family and friends are invited as we celebrate together the life of Jim S Larmon. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to Hobbs Health Care Center.
