Jerry Myrick

Jerry Don Myrick, 55, of Hobbs, NM passed away November 28, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. Jerry was born April 3, 1961 in Truth or Consequences, NM to Jerry L. and Mary Myrick.

Jerry graduated in 1979 from Hobbs High School. He was active in the choral department, attended NMJC where he was also active in the choral and voice department. While at NMJC he started dancing and singing with The Machiolek School of Dance in the Spring Recitals. He also started working with the Miss Hobbs Scholarship Pageant as singer, asst. producer, producer and Board Member.

Jerry was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church and attended Hobbs 1st Church of the Nazarene.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memories, Mary Myrick, mother; two sisters, Darla and Debbie Myrick, both of Hobbs; two nieces, Amanda Myrick and children, Trevor, SheaLynn, Justice and Bradley, Chelsie Elliott and children, Raelynn, Dylan and Christopher, nephew, Josh Elliott, seven aunts and many cousins and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry L. Myrick, seven uncles, three aunts, and nephew, Brad Lee Elliott.

Jerry also leaves to cherish his memories are his second family at Leaders Industries, he loved each and every one of you.
