Jerry Hignight

Jerry Wayne Hignight, a life-long resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, died unexpectedly on July 12, 2021, at the age of 72 while on vacation in Cozumel, Mexico.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hignight; his sister Janice (Darrell) Kuykendall; his children, Jherilynne McDaniel, Ronald Hignight, Kimberly Osceola, Aimee Williams, Darla (Stanley) Adams, Virginia Beth (Keith) Johnson, Danny (Analyn) Rawlinson, Sharleen (Greg) Littlejohn, and Gail (Dwayne) Reynolds and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Dorse and Stella Hignight, two great-grandchildren and two wives.

Jerry was a devoted family man who enjoyed fishing, golfing, and scuba diving. He was a Godly man and involved in many church activities.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
