A memorial service for Jerry Wayne Evrage of Hobbs, N.M., , will be held 2. p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22., 2007, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor David Matkins officiatshy;ing:

Cremation has taken place.

Mr. Evrage, 73, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at his home in Hobbs, N.M. He was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Carlsbad, N.M.

Jerry attended New Mexico Military Institute and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He received a bachelor's degree in marketing from North Texas State in Denton, Texas. He had been a resident of Hobbs, N.M., more than 30 years. Jerry was a member of the Masonic Lodge approximately 50 years. He was also active in the Hobbs Bass Club.

Mr. Evrage was a Methodist. Survivors include three daughters, Deb Chase of Artesia, N.M., Donna Murrill of Hobbs, N.M., and Deena Cabot of Bayfield, Colo.; six grandchildren, Chance Chase of Orlando, Fla., Tiffany Murrill of Lovington, N.M., Kendra Murrill of Dallas, Texas, Kali Murrill of Dallas, Texas, Jerid Cabot of Durango, Colo., and Cassidy Cabot of Bayfield, Colo.; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Ray Evrage of Pinon, N.M.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Faye Evrage of Carlsbad, N.M.
