Jerry Carrasco

Funeral services for Jerry Carrasco, 42, of Hobbs, will be Monday, November 1, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Fr. Ruben Romero officiating. There will be a Rosary Sunday, October, 31, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Interment will be at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Jerry died Thursday, October 28, 2010, in Hobbs. He was born November 3, 1967, to Paul and Martina Carrasco in Roswell, New Mexico.

Carrasco attended Hobbs High School and was employed by Phoenix Environmental. Jerry was athletic and was a fisherman. He loved his cars, motorcycles, music and loved to dance. He really loved people and was an uncle to every child he met. Jerry and his fiancee loved the color red.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Paul and Martina Carrasco of Hobbs his fiancee, Cindy Gonzales of Roswell sons, Michael Trujillo of Roswell and David Huerta of Hobbs daughters, Alexis and Amber Carrasco, both of Hobbs sister, Jessica Reinhart of Hobbs grandmother Cindy Carrasco of Roswell lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Gonzales and his grandparents.
