Jennifer Dawn Hernandez

Jennifer Dawn Curtis Hernandez, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 40 in San Pedro, Belize. Her beautiful, radiant and fun-loving spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on May 13, 1984, in Hobbs, NM, Jennifer grew up surrounded by love and family. She carried her vibrant energy and love for life through every stage of her journey.

Jennifer's life was a testament to love, resilience, and joy. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Caleb and Sara, as well as her bonus sons, Justin and Austen and her daughters-in-love Alysa and Julia. She nurtured her family with unwavering care, always putting their needs above her own.

Jennifer's passions included traveling, golf, going to the gym, and shopping, which she pursued with enthusiasm. Whether traveling to new destinations, supporting her children in their passions such as cornhole, baseball and softball, or spending time with her many friends, her zest for life was contagious.

Her friends and family will remember her for her boundless generosity, warm smile, bubbly laugh, and the way she made everyone feel special.

Jennifer is survived by her children Caleb Franklin and wife Alysa of Hobbs, NM, Sara Franklin of Lubbock, TX, bonus children Justin Hernandez and wife Julia of Lubbock, TX and Austen Hernandez of Seminole, TX, her mother, Pauletta Curtis of Hobbs, NM, two sisters Sherri Trent of Mesquite, TX and Christi Chandler of Howe, TX, one brother Jeffery Curtis and wife Michelle of Hobbs, NM, 10 nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. She is reunited in peace with her father Johnny Curtis and grandparents C.B. Curtis, Mamie Oney, Paul and Edith Guss, niece Amber McKee and nephew Tripp Chandler.

Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
