Jeffery Hamilton

A memorial service for Jeff Hamilton of Hobbs will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 111 12 W. Broadway. Please come through the back door.

Cremation will take place. Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Hamilton, 52, died May 22, 2010, at his home in Hobbs. He was born July 23, 1957, in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Jeff loved to ride his motorcycle with friends and The Last Few. He had a smile that would light up a room. Jeff worked with his hands and loved to dance. He enjoyed people and spending time with his dogs. He loved watching Monday Night Wrestling and never met a person he didnt know. Jeff was a member of the Moose Lodge.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son Robert Matthew Baxter of Hobbs daughter Linda Jo Muela of Hobbs three brothers, Stanley Hamilton, Barry Hamilton of Pennsylvania and David Hamilton of Texas three sisters, Kathy Hamilton of New York, Milly Hamilton of Hobbs and Carol Stokes of Hobbs a special friend, Melody Sourlock of Hobbs five grandchildren, Dominic Muela of Hobbs, Daniel Muela of Hobbs, Aliyah Muela of Hobbs and Callie Nicely of Hobbs.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Hamilton sister Joyce Annette Hamilton and nephew Wayne Hamilton in 2001.
