Janet Denise Menge

Janet Denise Menge, commonly known as Denise, passed from this life to her heavenly home on June 29, 2024. She was born November 7, 1967, to Billy E. Ables and Dora Jean Ables in Seminole, TX. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 1985. After graduating she worked as a dispatcher for the Hobbs Police Department prior to beginning her career at Albertsons. In 1998 she married her husband, Rolf Menge. Denise loved her family and her animals. Her hobbies included cooking, crafting, and playing her luck with the occasional gas station scratch off ticket.

She was preceded in death by both parents Billy E. Ables and Dora Jean Ables and father-in-law Carl Odom.

She is survived by her husband Rolf Menge, daughter Heather Milton and husband Cody, granddaughters Kylee Peyton Milton and Torryn Reign Milton, brother Robert Ables and wife Natrice, niece Tiya Orr, nephew Jeff Ables and wife Megan, niece Alesia Hawn and husband Jeremiah, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family requested that any memorial donations be made to the Humane Society in Hobbs, NM.
