Janet Lyle

Janet (Ribley) Lyle, 74 of Eunice, NM formerly of Lawrenceville, IL passed away at her residence at 1:34 am on September 21, 2022. Janet was born on May 3, 1948 in Vincennes, IN and she is the daughter of Voyle A. and Gladys (Starbuck) Ribley. Janet married Robert Lyle on July 3, 1967 and he preceded her in death.

Janet retired from the Eunice Bureau of Motor Vehicles in 2007 after twenty years and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Eunice, NM. She loved playing BINGO and loved her Lawrenceville High School class of 1967. She often made trips back to Lawrenceville for their homecoming celebrations. Janet had a great sense of humor, was always smiling and joking, never complained about her illness, and always had positive thoughts. Most importantly though she adored her sons, her granddaughters, her sister, and her nieces and nephews.

Janet is survived by her sons, Bob Lyle and his wife Iesha of Eunice, NM, Chris Lyle and his wife Renee of Lubbock, TX; her sister, Jeannie Sievers and her husband Louie of Vincennes; her granddaughters that she adored, Cordelia Lyle and Presley Niemeyer. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Voyle A. and Gladys Ribley, husband, Robert Lyle, and her sister, Nancy Jannusch.
