James Naron

A funeral service for J. T. Naron of Hobbs, N.M., was held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel. Burial followed at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Mr. Naron, 89, died March 17, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1918, in Pioneer, Texas. He married Eudora Naron on Nov. 13,1937.

Mr. Naron retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1984. He served in the U.S. Army durshy;ing World War II as a combat engineer. He loved cars, espeshy;cially his El Camino.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony Dale Naron and wife Irene of Ruidoso, N.M., and Lynn Naron and wife Kate Sweeney of New Orleans, La.; three grandchildren, Mark, Carey and Stepani; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eudora Naron, in 2005.
