James Luis Lara-Salazar

On May 30th, 2024, James Luis gained his wings and instantly became a HERO. James would be proud to know that he had saved lives by being an organ donor.

James was best known for his massive curly brown hair and smart-alec smirk. James had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by many people.

James was born September 12th, 2005, to Vanessa Lara in Hobbs, NM.

James is survived by his son, Santiago Lara-Salazar, his parents Rene and Vanessa Hernandez, brothers Johnathan Lara and Eric Hernandez, sisters Madison Lara and Anaya Hernandez, grandparents Wanda Henson, Luis and Yolanda Lara, Alfredo and Mary Hernandez, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his dad Ismael Salazar, his "Pia" Debra Lara, grandpa Clifford Henson, and cousins Evah Marie Gonzalez and Samuel Jackson.

If James were here with us, he would tell us all, not to be sad or grieve. He would say, " LOVE YOU, BE SAFE!"
