James Harmon

James Robert Harmon, 86, was called home with our heavenly Father on November 7, 2016. James was born July 23, 1930 in War, West Virginia to Johnny and Dorothy Harmon.

He was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He worked in the oil industry for over 45 years, where he retired at DA&S Oilfield Service.

He lived a long and great life with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ella Harmon, a daughter Patti Armendariz and his son Johnny Harmon.

He leaves behind two daughters, Susie and Doug Sherwood of Hobbs, Sissy Lay and Andrew Torres of Hobbs and his son Shawn Harmon of Cincinnati, Ohio, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that love him dearly, and he will be greatly missed.
