James A. Davis (Jim) born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on September 28, 1943, and died on January 21, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. He was the owner of D&D Pipeline Construction in Hobbs, New Mexico. He served on boards for NMJC as well as the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Jim is survived by two sisters and one brother as well as a daughter, a son, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Jim was the wonderful combination of the finest of gentlemen and the toughest of cowboys.
In honor of Jim, please join us in wearing something with green, his favorite color.
