alignjustifyBowey, 79, died May 27, 2009, at Hobbs Health Care Center in Hobbs, N.M. He was born January 15, 1930, in Denver, Colorado.

alignjustifyJames retired as a fire inspector with the Hobbs Fire Department after many years of service. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge. Survivors include two sisters; Marie Lane of Hobbs and Loretta Peak of Hobbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyJames was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Jessie Bowey; two brothers; and two sisters.
