Jade Ellis

Jade Christine Ellis, 24, passed away January 12, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jade was born June 15, 1989 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was raised in Hobbs. Jade was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 2007. She continued her education at New Mexico State University, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She currently lived in Albuquerque, and worked as the Executive Housekeeper for Courtyard by Marriott.

Jade was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, friend and employee.

Jade is survived by her parents, Ron and Sheri Williams of Hobbs, and Jeff and Kayleen Ellis of Vernal, Utah brother Chris Williams and wife Sarah, of Plainview, Texas brother Jeff Ellis of Hobbs brother Jordan Ellis and wife Shelby of Odessa, Texas sister Erynn Williams of Hobbs grandmother Donna Kaiser of Artesia, New Mexico grandparents Lyndal and Charles Moren of Jasper, Texas grandmother Pat Neill of Lubbock, Texas uncle Jim Butcher of Albuquerque uncle Jef Butcher and wife Wendy of Artesia uncle John Ellis and wife Dana of Lubbock uncle Bo Neill and wife Jayne of Lubbock aunt Suzanne Gilbert and husband Mike Phelan of Huntsville, Texas two nieces and lots of cousins and friends who will miss her very much.

Jade was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Ellis maternal grandfather, Jim Butcher, Sr and paternal grandparents Spencer and Pat Ellis.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church, officiated by Zach Souter. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, or The Boys and Girls Ranch of New Mexico.
