Jacqueline Villanueva

Funeral services for Jacqueline Valerie Pea Villanueva, formerly known as Jacqueline Valerie Grajeda, age 10, of Hobbs will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, from 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. 12:30 p.m. at Chapel of Hope. Jacqueline died March 23, 2012, at Lea Regional Hospital. She was born February 15, 2002, in Lubbock, TX.

Jacqueline was a very special girl who fought hard her whole life. Being six weeks premature, she started fighting and fought until her last breath. She struggled with her fight of cancer since October, 2008. Jacqueline was a wonderful girl and straight A student who attended Taylor Elementary School. She was that little girl who would touch your heart with just a smile, and even if you didnt know her, she would leave you with an everlasting memory or impression.

Surviving Jacqueline are her parents, Yolanda and Arturo, of Hobbs brother, Carlos Grajeda, of Hobbs sisters, Annika and Araceli Villanueva, of Hobbs grandparents, Jose and Elizabeth Pea, of Lovington, NM, and Arnulfo and Maria Villanueva, of Hobbs numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of special friends.
