A funeral service for Jack Lott of Hobbs, N.M., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at First United Methodist Church. Pastor Joe Bunce will officiate.
Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 1-6 p.m., Monday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. with the family in attendance from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 8-11 a.m.
Mr. Lott, 72, died Jan. 16, 2008, at University Hospital of Little Rock in Little Rock, Ark. He was born Jan. 3, 1936, in Gentry, Ark. He married Linda Lott on May 25, 1979, at Rock Chapel Baptist Church in Hobbs, N.M.
Jack was the pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church for over 20 years. He enjoyed peoshy;ple, anything to do with horses and teaching children to ride and care for their horses. He loved his church family and especially loved his wife, children and grandchilshy;dren. Jack also loved his dog, Topper.
Jack was the light of his family's lives. His grandchildren adored their PaPa.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lott of the home; four sons, Pat Lott and wife Lynn of New Brockton, Ark., Larry Lott and wife Kim of Magnolia, Ark., Terry Lott and wife Joni of Midland, Texas, and Michael Frank of Springfield, Mass.; six daughshy;ters, Tammy Athey and husshy;band Bobby of Foster, Okla., Jackie Zaragoza of Hobbs, N.M.; Sandy Reaves and fiance Ismael DelaRosa of Hobbs, N.M., Janet Roach and husshy;band Donnie of Vernon, Fla., Jeannie Ryder and husband Randy of Wilton, Mass., and Loni Gilbert and husband Lyman, of Concord, Mass; a brother, Jim Lott of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Betty Hensley of Visalia, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; and 11great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin Leonard and Myrtle Lott; a brother, Kenneth Luck; and a twin sisshy;ter, Clara Mae Barton on Jan. 13, 2008.
