Jack Ainsworth

Funeral services for Jack Ainsworth, 75 of Wellman, TX, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Minister Rance Ramsey. Jack died April 26, 2012, at his home in Wellman. He was born August 11, 1936, in Mountainair, NM, to Alfred and Eunice Ainsworth.

The family moved to Hobbs in 1951. Jack graduated from Hobbs High School in 1955 in 1956, he married Thelma Roundtree. Jack worked in the oil and gas industry until he retired in 1999 in Canton, TX. He was also a renewable energy innovator.

Jack is survived by his wife of 55 years, Thelma, of Wellman, TX three brothers, Alfred Buddy Ainsworth, of Levelland, TX, Don Ainsworth of Hobbs, NM, and Allan Ainsworth of Salt Lake City, UT a sister, Sue Alexander of Plainview, TX children, Kevin Ainsworth of Rosharon, TX, Karen Ainsworth Johnson of Wellman, TX and ten grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren.

Preceding Jack in death were his parents, and a son, Kendall Ainsworth.
