Irene Cross

Funeral services will be held for Irene Marie Cross on Friday, May 18, 2012, at 10 A.M. at Chapel of Hope. Bishop David Camp will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cross was born on November 11, 1941, in Safford, Arizona, to Marie and Ted R. Stewart. She passed away at her home in peace with her loved ones by her side on May 15 2012, in Hobbs. She was a stay at home mom she loved genealogy, helping people and taking care of all her kids she babysat over the years. Her strong belief in her faith was a major factor in her life. She loved her cats Ducky and Kia, they where her babies.
Mrs. Cross is survived by her sister Karen Brimhall in Kirtland, New Mexico brother James, and his wife Didi Stewart, in Las Vegas Nevada, Nila Stewart in Las Vegas, Nevada by her inlaws, Marylyn and Cecil Cross, Hobbs, New Mexico her seven children: Clarence Eddy, and his wife Ruby Smith, of Farmington, NM, Edna, and her husband Bill Glenn, of Hobbs, Rita, and her husband James Rhiddlehoover, of Hydro, Oklahoma, Mary Reuse of West Fargo, North Dakota, Raymond, and his wife Jenny Smith, of San Diego California, Bobbie, and her husband Todd Dunham, Hobbs, NM, Ted Smith, and his special friend Thressa David 24 grandchildren: CJ, Krystal, Cory, Briana, Craig, Jennifer, Jordann, Jaycie, Charles, Fanny, Joseph, Amanda, Samuel, Alex, Tracie, Amanda, Caleb, Samantha, Kasey, Kandice, Andrew, Roy, Dustin, Madalynn, DJ, Josh, Courtney, Chelsea 8 greatgrandchildren: Keaton, Jacelyn, Brody, and one on the way, Devon, Logan, Tristan, Jason, numerous other grand children and great grand children. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both sets of parents, both sets of great grandparents brother Steven Stewart her beloved husband Mickey Cross and her daughter inlaw Charlene Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday May 17, 2012 from 5 7 pm at The Chapel of Hope 3321 North Dal Paso Hobbs, New Mexico.
