Ignacio Ruiz

Ignacio M. Ruiz, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his home in Eunice, NM surrounded by family.

Ignacio was born in Palomas, Ojinaga, Mexico to Ignacio Jr. and Eulalia Ruiz on April 25, 1938. He was one of eight children. He leaves behind his wife, Olga (Eunice, NM); five children, Daniel Ruiz (Sylvia) Eunice, NM, Ruby Aguilar (David) Eunice, NM, Adrian Ruiz (Irene) Seminole, TX, Corina Santa Cruz (Oscar) Houston, TX, and Abel Ruiz (Alicia) Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Denisse Castaneda, Jasmine Zamora, Savannah Ruiz, Nicole Rueda, Marissa Santa Cruz, and Monica Santa Cruz; Eight great-grandchildren, Sean Ruiz, Aaliyah and Daymian Castaneda, Reyna and Devin Zamora, Aniyah Rueda, Daelen and Jackson Aguilar; and one brother, Ramon Ruiz (Nieves) Artesia, NM.

He cherished spending time with his family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved all of them dearly. In his free time, he enjoyed tending to his garden, yard, and being accompanied by his dog, Chico.

Ignacio was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Jr. and Eulalia Ruiz. Five brothers, Rosalio, Jose, Domingo, Filomeno, and Jesus Ruiz two sisters, Juanita Valenzuela, and Pimenia Salinas.

He will be missed dearly by his loved ones he left behind.
