Surviving Ignacio are his father, Rafael Alvarado; wife, Barbara Cirilo, and children; Lucia Hernandez, Fernando Alvarado, Maria Elena Alvarado, Angela Alvarado, Oscar Alvarado, Cheyanne Lozoya, Lorenzo Villarreal, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 10 siblings. Ignacio was preceded in death by his mother, Elena Alvarado; and sisters; Leticia Alvarado and Elva Morales.
