alignjustifyMr. Neely died July 18, 2009, in Hobbs. He was born December 12, 1930, in Shreveport, Lousiana.

alignjustifyMr. Neely was a widower. His wife died December 28, 2005.

alignjustifyHe was also preceded in death by a son, Horace Rayford Hoss Neely, November 4, 2006.

alignjustifyHe attended Temple Baptist Church in Hobbs.

alignjustifySurvivors include his children, Reid Harris of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Kathy Kabitz of Stockbridge, Georgia; Marty Everhart of Florida, Brenda Crowe of Floresville, Texas; Danny Everhart of Odessa, Texas, Robert Everhart of Mesquite, Texas, and David Everhart of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Benjai Thompson of Shreveport, Louisiana; and a plethora of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
