Henry Etta Ott, 89, of Hobbs, passed from this life March 22, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. She was born July 15, 1923, in Cisco, TX, to Jim and Electa Moss. Henry Etta married the late Robert H. Bob Ott on November 21, 1947, in Grand Falls, TX.
She graduated from Cisco High School and Jr. College. She worked as a secretary for Mobile Oil for many years, was a great seamstress, enjoyed china painting, golf, fishing, hunting, traveling, especially in Ruidoso. She was a member of Hobbs Better Garden Club. Henry Etta was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by special friends Ken and Ann Batson, Mary Froese, Keith and Melissa Simpson, Erika Garcia, Pat and Sue Collins, Jane Faulk and many others.
She is preceded in death by spouse, Robert H. Bob Ott.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Chapel of Hope with Rev. Darren Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 10 a.m. 5 p.m. and from 8 a.m. till time of service on Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
