Funeral services for 96 year old Helen Lucille Hay will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2010, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Dr. Dean Mathis officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May, 9, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.. Burial will take place Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 2:00 p.m, at Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, OK.
Lucille Hay was born November 19, 1913, in Mangum Oklahoma. She passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010, in Lubbock, Texas.
Lucille moved to Hobbs, NM in 1955. She was employed with New Mexico Bank and Trust for 25 Years where she served as head teller. She was an active member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. Lucille enjoyed playing cards and piano. She played the piano for her church.
Lucille is survived by her two sons, Paul Hay and wife, Jean of Las Cruces, NM, and Joe Hay and wife, Kathy of Carlsbad, NM. and her sister Marie Robertson of Mangum, OK. Lucille has seven grandchildren, fifteen greatgrandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Wilson Dudley and Mamie Helen Medearis, her husband Doris Arrington Hay, daughter Juline Osborne and sister Billie Jo Wortham.
