Hazel Anderson

Funeral services for Hazel Anderson, 91, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements. Pastor Elio Barrios, Vista Care Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery directly after the funeral service. Hazel died May 30, 2011, at Heartland Care of Hobbs. She was born February 13, 1920, in Jethro, Arkansas, to Elmer and Flora Willis.

Hazel married George F. Anderson May 13, 1954, in Carlsbad, NM. She was employed by the City of Hobbs as City Clerk for twenty years. She had been a member of BPW and First United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening.

Surviving Hazel is her son, Dr. Bobby L. Beau Raines of Austin, Texas her daughter, Rita Calvan of Philadelphia, PA her sister, Jerrie Barkley of Texarkana, Arkansas and her sisterinlaw, Louise Walker of Hobbs.

Preceding Hazel in death are her parents and her husband.
