Harold Ogle

Harold Kirkland Ogle passed away on April 6, 2013. He was 72. Harold was born on March 23, 1941, in Crosbyton, TX. Harold was a cherished father, grandfather and brother. He joined the Army in 1959, where he received medals for marksmanship, and served in Korea.
He dedicated much of his life to the Boy Scouts of America and to being a pilot and flying. In retirement, Harold was very involved with VFW Post 3274 and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed taking his grandsons fishing and shooting.
Harold is survived by his sister, Dolores Mullins of Ralls, TX brothers, Larry Ogle of Nocona, TX, Paul Ogle of Amarillo, TX, Ronnie Ogle of Meredian, TX, and Rhena Smith of Amarillo, TX a daughter, Susan White of New Braunfels, TX a son, J. D. Ward of Amarillo, TX and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2:00 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Chapel of Hope on Tuesday, April 9 from 4 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to VFW Post 3274 in honor of Harold Ogle.
