Harold Peanut Richard Hicks passed away on April 22 at the age of 82. Peanut was born in Drumright OK on Dec 7th 1930 to Jim and Jimmie Hicks. He served in the Army from 19521954 in Anchorage Alaska. He was married on Feb 10, 1954 to Helen C. Hicks and for 59 years shared their lives. They had 4 children, Kim Savage and her husband Tony, Linda Collier, and her fiancee Donald Barnes and Johns Hicks all of Hobbs was preceded in death by daughter Donna Sue. He had numerous grand children great grand children.
Peanut loved to hunt and fish, he loved people and was a great cartoonist. He was a paint contractor for 30 years, he was very good at the work he did. He liked making people happy loved to collect Antiques. He cherished his two dogs Toby and Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers 3 sisters as well as his parents.
Services will be at Chapel of Hope, family visitation will be Thurs, April 25 from 5 to 6 pm and funeral services will be Friday April 26, 2 pm at Chapel of Hope.
