Harold Adams

Harold Adams, 92, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. He was born on January 10, 1921, in Alpoca, WV, to Simeon and Martha Adams, and was the youngest of ten siblings.

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and after being discharged, worked for Swift Co. for 32 years until he retired. He married Patricia Joan Downs on April 28, 1951. A longtime member of Jefferson Street Church of Christ in Hobbs, NM, he enjoyed spending time with family and working in his garden.

According to his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place through Chapel of Hope.

Harold is survived by wife , Pat, of the home son Greg and wife Cris of Hobbs grandchildren Angela Wilhite Koy of Amarillo, TX. McKenzie Adams of New Ulm, MN Jason Gregory Adams of Fort Sill, LA Jason Allen Adams Heather of Hobbs and Emily Brown Chuck of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by seven greatgrandchildren: Kolton and Kamryn Wilhite Brianna, Faith, and Alissa Adams and Haley and Lynsey Coons.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, son Mark, and siblings Ocie, Oley, Violet, Busbridge, Archie, Opal, Dempsey, Virginia and Simeon, Jr.
