Gloria Pryer

Funeral services for Gloria E. Beth Pryer will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Mr. D.A. Cochran officishy;ating. Burial will follow at Memory G:ardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Pryer, 80, died Nov. 18, 2007, at Lea Regional Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1927, in Leonard, Texas. She married Lonzo L. Joe Pryer on May 9, 1947, in Carlsbad, N.M.

Beth was baptized at age 11 in Leonard, Texas. She moved to Hobbs, N.M, in 1957. She had been a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ for 50 years. Beth enjoyed oil painting, writing and cooking. She was very devoted to her church and family.

Survivors include her husshy;band, Lonzo L. Joe Pryer of the home; four sons, Dwight L. Pryer of Hobbs, N.M., David M. Pryer of Lubbock, Texas, Ronald L. Pryer of Hobbs, N.M., and Glenn A. Pryer of Stigler, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
