Funeral services for Gloria Martinez of Hobbs, N.M., will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Shropshire officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Hashy;ven Memoshy;rial Park.

Visitation is 1-6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Chapel of Hope.

Mrs. Martinez, 52, died May 28 2008 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born May 25, 1956, in Eden, Texas. She married Fernando Martinez on Dec. 28, 1976, in Lovington, N.M.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed life to the fullest. We will miss her smile and dimples. She was a very energetic and outgoing pershy;son. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husshy;band, Fernando Martinez of Hobbs, N.M.; a daughter, Tish and husband Matt Thompson of Hobbs, N.M.; a son, Farina Martinez of Hobbs, N.M.; a daughter, Lori Martinez and fiance Cory Heckard of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Christina Salazar and companion David Perez of Hobbs, N.M.; her mom, Juanita Esparza of Hobbs, N.M.; her grandchilshy;dren, Vanessa, Cierra; Jadyn, Hayley, Ky, Jaysiah, K'Leigh and Kadynce; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane; her father, Andres Esparza; a nephew, Andy Salazar, and a grandmother, Christina Navarro.
