Glenda Bensing

A special service honoring a beautiful woman, Glenda Faye Bensing, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hobbs, NM. Glenda passed away peacefully surrounded by her brother, Robert M. Bensing his wife, Paula her beloved children and grandchildren. She was born on December 1, 1945, in Hobbs, NM, to Robert L. Bensing and Mary Catherine Vines.
Glenda was blessed with six children her son, Sean Davis of Broomfield, Colorado daughter, DeMarie Niedling and her husband Kyle of Longmont, Colorado Amy Dickerson of Hobbs, NM Kelli Prieto her husband Keith of Hobbs, NM Mack Davis his wife Melinda of St. Louis, Missouri Robert L. Davis of Hobbs, NM. Glenda loved her two brothers Robert M. Bensing of Hobbs, NM, and Gary L. Bensing of Loveland, Co.
Glenda was a devoted and loving mother with many talents. She was never happier than when holding a new grandbaby in her arms with a big smile on her face. Glenda was an avid reader and loved collecting tea pots birdhouses. She had a genuine ability to make us all feel loved.
Glenda was survived by 8 grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews and former husbands James C. Davis of Hobbs, NM, and John P. Newberry of Artesia, NM.
