Gladys Horn

Funeral services for Gladys Horn will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 2:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Crawford officiating. Interment will be immediately after services at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Mrs. Horn died May 21, 2011, at Hobbs Health Care. She was born January 25, 1922, in Nacogdoches, TX. She married Roy Horn March 30, 1940, in Idabel, OK, and they moved to Hobbs in 1951. He passed away in 1990. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church for many years.

Surviving Gladys are her sons, Gene Horn of Colorado City, TX, and Gerald Horn of Hobbs, NM two daughters, Nelda Worley, and husband Russell, of Midland, TX, and Connie White, and husband Gary of Lovington, NM six grandchildren, Debbie Massingill, Phyllis Wilson, Ruth Ann Hawks, Kathy Horn, Gary Wince White, Jr., and Chris White 11 greatgrandchildren and 17 greatgreatgrandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy two grandsons, Kenneth and Ricky Horn, two daughtersinlaw, Sharlotte and Johnnie Horn and one granddaughter, Letha Wright.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lea County Humane Society, 702 N. Grimes, Hobbs, NM 88240.
