Gilbert Maldonado

Gilbert Maldonado, 64, was born November 7, 1952 in Hobbs, New Mexico, to the late Modesto Maldonado Sr. (Tino) and Maria Ellena Maldonado. He passed away November 16, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas.

He worked in the oil field for numerous years with Banta Oil Field Services, K&S Painting and Sandblasting, and Miss Bonnie's PDQ Escort Service. He enjoyed being outdoors with his animals, especially his companion Chiquita, drawing, playing baseball and softball back in the days.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his father, Modesto Maldonado, Sr., a brother, Carlos Maldonado, and a niece, Abigail Balboa Maldonado.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Maria Ellena Maldonado, a son, Christopher Maldonado, four (4) brothers, Tommy Maldonado (Anita), Benny Maldonado (Christina), Mike Maldonado (Mollie) all of Hobbs, and Johnny Maldonado (Gloria) of Carlsbad, New Mexico, two (2) sisters, Gloria Cano (Johnny) of Hobbs and Sally Beggs (Marty) of Weatherford, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
