Jeri grew up on the family ranch in Jal, New Mexico and graduated from Jal High School. She went on to become a secretary and office manager for many oil and gas entities including El Paso Natural Gas and Amerada Hess.
She married the Love of her Life, Clay Osborn on February 4th, 1969. Together, they worked in the oilfields and other ventures. She had an affection for anyone she met and adored her family. She was hard to anger and easy to please. She was a faithful member of the Church and loved old time gospel music. She loved a "good" joke and let-on like didn't "get" a joke that seemed "off-colored." She always had a kind word for those in need of uplifting and a protective heart for those down on their luck. She was an avid reader of novels and her favorite, the Holy scriptures. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She was taken care of like the wonderful matriarch she was by her family in her final days. She was blessed to have the comfort of Gentiva hospice services during her last days.
