George Campos, 42, died March 14, 2007, in Gaines County. He was bom Sept. 1, 1964, in Vaughn, N.M.
George graduated from Hobbs High School and worked the past three years for Llano Construction. He took pride in his work and was a very talentshy;ed carpenter. George loved life and his family was very special to him. Hunting, fishing, playshy;ing cards, gambling, movies, The History Channel and counshy;try music were things he enjoyed. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Carlos and Paula Campos of Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, Charles Campos of Morgan Hill, Calif.; three sisters, Janie Renteria and husband Sean of Hollister, Calif., Denise Hamilton and husband Phillip of Trinidad, Colo., and Frances Navarrette of Hobbs, N.M.; his grandmother, Juanita Garza of Rio Rancho, N.M.; four nephews, Billy Surber, Jake Renteria, Paul and Jordan Campos of Hollister, Calif.; six nieces; Ashlyn Renteria, Jade and Addisyn Hamilton, and Nicole, Alyssa and Caryl Navarrette of Hobbs, N.M.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
