Gannon Williams

February 18, 1995 — February 3, 2007

Gannon Williams entered into joyous freedom with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007. He was 11 years old.

Gannon Troy Williams arrived fighting into this world on Feb. 18, 1995 in Katy, Texas.

Gannon loved playing baseball with the Diamondbacks here in Hobbs. His nickname, Bags came from his favorite baseball player Jeff Bagwell of the Houston Astros. He was a fan of wrestling also. John Cena was the wrestler he enjoyed the most. Gannon spent his free time with his friends and family skateboarding, ice skating and playing his PS2. He loved playing with his sisters and teasing them incessantly.

Gannon was currently attending George W. Bush Elementary in Midland, Texas. He had tons of energy and great laughter to share with anyone he came in contact with. Gannon truly had a way of making people smile.

He is survived by his father, Shane Williams of Hobbs, his mother, Rachel Williams of Midland, TX, two sisters, Kana and Bree of Midland, TX; paternal grandparents Calvin and Brenda Elrod of Katy, TX and Lloyd Williams of Seattle, WA; maternal grandparents Bill Gatchell of Hobbs, NM and Shirley and Ward Hawkins of Colorado City, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and his two cats, Stephanie and Fluffy.

Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, at 2:00 pm at Christian Center Church with Pastor Jotty Kinney officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Gannon is loved dearly and will always remain a champion in our hearts.
