Fritz Mueller, Sr.

alignjustifyFuneral services for Fritz P. Mueller Sr. of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2009, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel with Chaplain Steve Lord officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Visitation is 9 a.m. Friday at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mr. Mueller, 88, died February 16, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born October. 23, 1920, in Bowie, Texas. He married Beulah Mae Mueller on July 4, 1945, in Bowie, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 15, 1997.

alignjustifyMr. Mueller served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was deployed to Europe and landed on Omaha Beach. He was of the Baptist faith.

alignjustifySurvivors include a son, Paul Mueller and wife Ann of Lubbock; two daughters, Shirley L. Lampkin and husband Bill of Davis, Oklahoma, and Linda Bales and husband David of Brandon, Mississippi; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
