Fred Espinoza

Fred Espinoza, 85, was born March 26, 1929 in Karnes City, Texas to Flavio and Cruz Espinoza.
Mr. Espinoza passed away May 16, 2014 in Lovington, New Mexico. Fred married Catherine Cocilova in Rosedale, Mississippi, on June 11, 1951. They were married for over 62 years. Mr. Espinoza raised ten children. He was a loving family man. Fred taught his children well. He was a good provider for his family. He loved his yard. He liked cooking. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Mr. Espinoza is survived by his wife Catherine of the home seven sons, Richard and Mary Espinoza, Mike and Connie Espinoza, and Freddy Espinoza, all of Hobbs, Ernest and Irma Espinoza of Del Ray Beach, Florida, Glenn and Liz Espinoza of Pompano Beach, Florida, Steve and Micki Espinoza, and Roger Espinoza, all of Odessa, Texas three daughters, Mona and Mark Mauzey of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Patricia Gracia and Cindy Everidge, both of Hobbs, New Mexico one brother, Fidel Espinoza of Del Ray, Florida three sisters, Adelia Ornelas of Del Ray, Florida, Ofelia Cravens of Lake Worth, Florida, and Martha Garza of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by twentysix grandchildren and twentyfive greatgrandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Espinoza and two sisters, Edulia Campos and Elveria Marroquin.

A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Bethel Assembly of God, Hobbs, New Mexico.
