Funeral services for Louise Teague, 87, of Hobbs will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2010, at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. Dr. Dean Mathis will officiate.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens after ceremony.
Visitation will be Wednesday, noon5 p.m., Thursday, 8 a. m. 6 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. 8:30 a.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Teague died November 29, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born December 28, 1922, in Franklin, Texas. She married John Teague on June 2, 1940, in Lovington.
She lived in Hobbs since 1934. She was a member of Chapparel Square Dance Club. She enjoyed working with ceramics, camping, hunting and traveling. Louises greatest joy in life was her family.
She was a member of Bel Aire Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Travis Teague and wife Connie of Hobbs, Eddie Teague and wife Karren of Hobbs, John Teague, Jr. and wife Gaylene of Hobbs and J. E. Teague and wife Virginia of Hobbs sister Betty Wicks and husband Frank of Clovis, NM three grandsons, Kenny Teague and friend Susan Brake of Hobbs, Mike Teague and wife Cayla of Hobbs and John Teague III of Austin, Texas three granddaughters, Kristi McPeters and husband Jud of Hobbs, Renee Winn of Bentonville, Arkansas and Melissa Lowery and husband Brian of Hobbs and 11 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Teague, dauughter, Loretta Teague, father Bridges Autry and mother Sarah Mae Kemp.
