Fernando Saiz, Jr.

Fernando J Saiz Jr. was born October 26, 1947, in Hagerman NM and passed away in Lubbock Texas November 12, 2023. He was born to Fernando Saiz Sr. and Antonia Rodriguez. He was raised in Lovington NM and attended Lovington Schools.

Mr. Saiz Was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Army. After his military service Mr. Saiz worked as a Forest Fire Tracker, (Oregon). He was also a roofer, construction worker, and did work in oil field services.

He enjoyed listening to oldies music, dancing, spending time with family, watching his game shows and football games.

Mr. Saiz leaves behind his Longtime Partner Janey Ortega, two sons of the home Armando Saiz and Arturo Castillo. Elsie Ortega, Eddie Ortega (Vicki), Elvia Mendoza (Armando), numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Two daughters Cynthia and Antonia Saiz (Oregon) Four sisters and two brothers. Uncle Jr. also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Saiz is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
