Felipe Salinas

Funeral services for Felipe Salinas will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Templo Monte De Sion, 101 W. Utah, Jal, NM, with Pastor Lupe Hernandez officiating. Visitation will be 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday, April 2 at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. Felipe was born October 13, 1936, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jesus and Lorenza Salinas. He died March 30, 2012, at Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs, NM.

Felipe was a handy man and helped around the house. He loved his family, especially, his grandchildren.

Surviving Felipe is his wife, Jesusita Jessie Salinas of Jal daughter, Lorie Ruiz and husband Jose of Hobbs son, Robert Salinas, and wife Jessica, of Jal sisters, Angelica Franco and Guadalupe Romo both of Jal, and Martha Salazar of Artesia brothers, Manuel, Javier, Artura, Antonio Salinas all of Artesia and Lorenza Salinas of Pecos, TX mom, Sabina Salinas, of Artesia eight grandchildren, Natasha, Joshua, Jordan, Starla Ruiz all of Hobbs and Dylan, Nathaniel, Daniel and Isaac Salinas all of Jal and greatgranddaughter, Zanevieva, Ruiz of Hobbs.

Preceding him in death are his parents and granddaughter, Larissa Salinas Ruiz.
