Felipe R. Navarrette, 62, was born August 29, 1952 in Ojinaga, MX to Felipe Sr. and Eva Navarrette. He passed away December 12 in Arizona. He married Maria Munoz on September 4, 1971 in Lovington, NM they shared 43 years of love together.

Felipe grew up in Estancia, Artesia area and graduated from high school in Lovington, NM.
Felipe was a people person. He never met a stranger. His joy was in helping and making others happy, especially his kids and grandkids. He loved life. He loved big trucks, horses and motorcycles. Felipe lived a fulfilled life, full of love and lived for others. His favorite medicine was laughter. He loved music and to sing. Felipe followed every dream that rose up in his heart and stepped out to accomplish them with no fear and he encouraged his kids to do the same. He was the founder of 5 Bros Transportation. He was his familys biggest fan. Felipe left a legacy of love that will be carried through generations to come. He will be dearly missed. We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.

He is survived by his wife Maria of their home in Eunice and his children, son, Felipe Navarrette, Jr., Steve Navarrette and wife Nancy, daughter Ana Juarez and husband Chuma, Rick Navarrette and wife Christie of Hobbs, Paul Navarrette and wife Marti of Eunice, NM, Albert Navarrette and wife Gabby all of Hobbs and daughter Dianna Ruth and husband Zach of Midland, TX. Sister Christina Corral and husband Raymond of Dallas, TX, Josie Marquez and husband Manuel of Hobbs, sister Rosie Navarrette of Dallas, TX, Frances Juarez and husband Robert of Amarillo, TX, brother, Martin Navarrette of Hobbs and sister Darlene Rosen and husband Dave of Dallas, TX. His grandchildren whom he loved so much: Alyssa and husband Brandon, Christopher, Bubba, Caitlyn, Aaron, Heaven, Jagger, Jalee, Joss, Lucas, Ava and Avery, 2 great grandchildren, Braxton and Rhyder and many special nieces and nephews.

Felipe is preceded in death by his parents: Felipe Sr and Eva Navarrette, sister, Elva Baeza and brotherinlaw Jaime Baeza.
