Eulita Welch

Obituary for Eulita Mae Welch. Born Oct 21, 1920 in Beaver City, Oklahoma. Died May 5, 2014 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Married Donald Dean North on Sept 22, 1937. 2 daughters born to that marriage. Donna Marie North Nelson, Glenda Jean North Sheppard. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After the 2nd World War, and her husband returned from the Navy in December 23, 1945. Her husband passed away on March 30, 1967. She worked at Sandia National Labs in Albuq for 21 12 years. While at Sandia Labs, she met and married Henry R. Welch. When they retired, they moved to Navajo Dam. Enjoyed lots of travel, fishing and community activities. She had many happy years of marriage to Henry. She lost both her daughters to cancer. Donna Nelson on July 23, 1997. Seven months later, Glenda Jean Sheppard February 14, 1998.
Eulita had many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and many greatgreat grandchildren. Two living sisters, Pauline Szalkowski, Fallon, Nevada. Marvel Culwell, Okla City, Okla. Lots of loved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Memory GardensFarmington, in Farmington, New Mexico.
