Mrs. Ambrose, 90, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Desert Gardens. She was born July 28, 1918, in Collins, Mississippi. She married Hoke Ambrose on December 21, 1939, in Meridian, Mississippi.
Mrs. Ambrose loved the Lord, her family, God's beauty in nature and all 1iving creatures, especially her poodles, telling jokes and laughter.
alignjustifyShe was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church.
alignjustifySurvivors include two daughters, Sandra Lee Deal and husband Tommy of Seminole, Florida, and Jara Ambrose of Hobbs, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Skip Deal of Seminole, Florida, Lance Spivey and wife Alexa of McKinney, Texas, Carrie Lee Gissiner and husband Dean of Lexington Park, Maryland, and Leigh Anne McKinney and husband Bryan of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; and ten great-grandchildren.
alignjustifyMrs. Ambrose was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, two brothers and one sister.
