Esther Pearl Hardin was born to Arbin Madison Reeves and Lille Mae (Woods) Reeves on March 11, 1932, in Marysville, TX and passed away July 1, 2022. She grew up in Midland, TX where she met the love of her life, Clarence Lee Hardin. They married on July 4, 1950, had three children, and were happily together for 55 beautiful years, before he preceded her in death, March 23, 2005. Her place of internment will be in Hobbs, NM.
Esther Pearl (mom and grandma) was a sweet and loving person, devoted to her Christian faith. She had a unique and infectious laugh, which brought joy to her friends and family. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed being around her loved ones, playing “42”, and NOT receiving phone calls while watching her Dallas Cowboys. It brought her so much joy to cook for her family on special occasions, and will always be remembered for her fried chicken, pies, and endless supply of gum and cokes for her grandchildren. She loved and spoiled her two fur babies, Little Bit and Precious, who will be going home with her.
Pearl is survived by her sisters, Sue Stewart, and Jessie Cole; children Chester and Deborah Hardin, Laquetta Bradshaw, Patricia Lynn and Monty Oglesby; grandchildren Trent and Kara Hardin, Chance and Marcia Hardin, Knicole Hardin, LaDonna and Fred Chew, Austin and Ruth Bradshaw, Shaun and Christen Oglesby, Randee and Casey Cope; as well as many great and great-great grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by brothers A.C., Leon, and C.L.; sisters Viola, S.E., Willa Dean, and Naomi; and grandson Shane Bradley Hardin.
She will be missed and loved, always.
