Emma White

Sis White, 85, was born October 27, 1929 in Carlsbad, NM to William and Odie Mae Rash. She passed away August 18, 2015 in Hobbs, NM.

She moved to Hobbs in 1943. As a young woman she helped provide for her family by working at an early age as a secretary to help keep the family together and was always there for her younger brothers. She and her husband, Tom owned the Star Dust Lounge for over 30 years. Sis for numerous years visited and spent time with her only daughter. Her pets were very special to her. In her later years, her neighbors for over 25 and 30 years became a great part of her family, whom she knew she could count on.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Gazzaway (Randy) of Hobbs, two brothers; Bill Rash of Duncan, OK and Jimmy Rash (Jeannie) of Hobbs, four nieces; Tanya Case (Leonard) of Duncan, OK, Kim Tuttle (James) New Braunsfels, TX, Kellye Girton (Mark) Kennesaw, GA, and Natalie Rash of Hobbs, NM, her special friends; Betty and Bill Ware, Robbie Segars, Cris Adams, Jennifer Berry, Samantha Heinz, Roy and Lynn Moshier, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pharr and grandchildren and numerous friends in the neighborhood and her faithful canine "Red".

Sis was preceded in death by her husband Tom White, the love of her life, and two infant brothers.
